The diving opportunities off the coast of Clearwater in Florida certainly aren’t the best in the world, but sometimes it’s just good to get back underwater. That was my only goal during a trip here in 2017, after five years had passed since my previous dive on the USS Spiegel Grove in 2012. It was a beautiful day on the sea, providing a smooth trip out to the site. From there we spent the day exploring the seafloor reefs and rock formations.
