Situated about an hour southeast of Columbus, OH, Hocking Hills is a great place for a weekend getaway when you need some exposure to nature. I went here several times growing up in southern Ohio, and returned during my second year of medical school with a group of friends for a relaxing weekend. We explored the many geological features Hocking Hills has to offer on a few short hikes through the forest.
