This adventure was a short one. While on my away-rotation at the University of Utah during my fourth year of medical school, Katie came to visit. On our agenda were several hikes, but not wanting to set out on one in the late afternoon lest we get stuck in the dark, we decided to instead venture into the city. We spent time exploring City Creek Center (probably my favorite shopping area, even though I’m not really into shopping), Temple Square, and generally just moseying about downtown. After some coffee and pastries at Eva’s Boulangerie, we called it a night (or rather, evening), and headed home to prepare for the next day’s hike to Lake Blanche!
