This ingenious headlamp has an innovative new headband design for more comfortable weight distribution and the ability to fold itself into a little stand for use as a lantern. The carrying bag is a white translucent cloth that doubles as a light diffuser when tied over the LED element for less directional light around camp. I used this walking down 5,000 feet of the Grand Canyon’s North Rim after dark, and it didn’t let me down.
