INTRODUCTION
Looking to explore somewhere new by car in the middle of Winter, my parents and I set out on a trip to Moab, UT. Along the way, we’d explore two of Arizona’s most iconic regions: Sedona and Monument Valley. Once at our final destination, we’d attempt to explore Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, and the town of Moab itself, although the weather had other plans. After spending a couple days adapting our plans in Moab, we’d journey back into Arizona to explore the best-preserved meteor impact site on Earth and Petrified Forest National Park before heading home to Tucson.
